Our work environment transcends the ordinary Monday to Friday, "nine to five." All new employees can accrue up to four standard weeks of vacation each calendar year beginning the first day at the Company, and we encourage our employees to create a healthy work-life balance in many other ways as well.

Outside our walls, Vertex employees, along with their families and friends, participate in community events and activities throughout the year. In 2008, more than 400 members of "Team Vertex" took part in Great Strides Walks across the country and around the world raising over $40,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
